01

Choose your topic and duel style

Pick a topic, then choose Classic for knowledge and speed or Power-Up Duels for an extra layer of strategy.

02

Pick your coin table

Practice Grounds has no stake. Coin tables range from 100 to 10,000 coins, with larger tables unlocking as your player level grows. A 500-coin stake creates a 1,000-coin pot.

03

Meet your opponent

Join ranked matchmaking or send a friend challenge. Both players agree to the same topic, duel style, and table. If no live rival is available, a bot keeps those rules.

04

Answer under pressure

Answer five shared questions, with 15 seconds per question. In Power-Up Duels, use 50/50, Shield, or Double Down before answering. Each type can be used once per match.

05

See what you learned

Review the correct answer and your score after each round. Tied duels move into sudden death, where the first correct answer decides the winner.

06

Take the pot and build progress

The winner receives both coin stakes. A loss or forfeit loses the stake. Completed matches update XP, topic progress, streaks, achievements, and relevant leaderboards.

Classic scoring

Make each answer count

Correct answers earn 7–10 points based on speed. Wrong or missed answers score zero. The higher total wins the duel.

Power-Up scoring

Balance risk and protection

Wrong or missed answers cost 5 points. Shield prevents that loss; Double Down doubles the gain or loss. 50/50 removes two wrong choices.

Adaptive questions

A challenge for each topic

Your topic skill rating guides question difficulty. Human duels use both players’ average rating; bot duels use yours. Topic levels grow separately through XP.

Coin tables set the stake and pot. The question mix follows topic skill, moving from easier to harder questions within the duel.

Fair by design

The best answer wins

Questions are prepared before each match, both players receive the same challenge, and final results are calculated on the server.
