Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how QuizRaid handles information when you create an account, sign in, play matches, use social features, appear on leaderboards, change settings, view advertising, connect platform services, or contact support.
Information you provide
We process the information needed to operate your account, including email address, username, password credentials when created, avatar choices or uploaded profile image, age band, language, privacy settings, sound settings, and notification choices. Passwords are stored as secure hashes rather than readable text.
Google identity and Play Games
If you use Google Sign-In, QuizRaid verifies the Google ID token and stores the stable Google account identifier, verified email, and link date. On supported Android builds, if you connect Google Play Games, we store the server-verified player identifier, link date, and last achievement synchronization time. These connections are optional where offered.
Gameplay and progress data
QuizRaid records topics played, question difficulty, answers, response timing, scores, match results, XP, ranked XP, achievements, streaks, accuracy, topic skill, matchmaking activity, and match history. This allows us to calculate fair results, personalize challenge level, display progress, and protect game integrity.
Social and public information
Your username, avatar, level, rank, public statistics, achievements, leaderboard position, friend activity, and match-related profile details may be visible to other players. Your email, password, Google account identifier, Play Games identifier, session details, and verification codes are not displayed publicly. Private profiles are removed from player search, although existing friends may still view them.
Technical, security, and notification data
We may process device type, operating system, app version, network state, session timing, IP address, request identifiers, push notification token, delivery status, crash or error details, and security or anti-abuse signals. We use this information to keep the service available, deliver requested notifications, investigate misuse, and prevent cheating.
Advertising and age treatment
QuizRaid uses Google AdMob for interstitial advertising shown to eligible non-premium Android users at natural breaks between matches. QuizRaid stores an age range rather than a full birth date. Accounts under 16 receive age-restricted, general-audience advertising treatment without personalized advertising. Eligible adult users can make or change consent choices where required. Premium accounts do not request or display ads.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate players, run live matches, calculate results, maintain leaderboards, save preferences, synchronize connected achievements, manage friends and challenges, send allowed notifications, answer support requests, improve reliability, investigate cheating, enforce our terms, and protect QuizRaid and its players.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for hosting, databases, storage, email delivery, push notifications, authentication, Google Play Games, advertising, and infrastructure security. Those providers process limited data needed to perform their services under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect players or the service, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a business reorganization where permitted.
Children and family use
QuizRaid is designed for learners age 6 and older where local rules and app-store requirements allow it. A parent, guardian, school, or teacher may need to consent to and supervise a child’s account and use. Children should not provide personal information without the permission required where they live. QuizRaid applies age-aware advertising treatment and may limit features when needed for safety or compliance.
Retention and security
We keep account and gameplay information while an account is active and as needed to provide QuizRaid. Expired registration, password-reset, and deletion codes are removed after seven days; expired or revoked sessions are removed after 30 days; completed push-delivery records after 30 days; inactive push devices after 45 days; read notifications after 180 days; and question-history records after 365 days. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit, credential hashing, access controls, rate limits, and session revocation. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your controls and rights
You can update profile, privacy, language, sound, age band, password, advertising privacy where offered, and notification settings inside QuizRaid. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Contact support for assistance.
Account deletion
Request deletion in QuizRaid Settings or at quizraid.fun/delete-account. We send a six-digit code to the registered email and delete only after the code and final warning are confirmed. Deletion immediately revokes sessions and removes or anonymizes the login, email, username, avatar, linked identities, push devices, notifications, social connections, preferences, and public profile. Completed match results may remain under “Deleted Player” so scores, opponent history, security records, and competitive integrity remain consistent without identifying the deleted account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as QuizRaid, legal requirements, or service providers change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update means the current policy applies.
